Isn’t it cute????? This little guy looks like a real life Tweety Bird, short of having a little beak!

Pygmy Jerboa is among the list of those mammals that are smallest known in the world. It is nearly 47mm, or you may say that around one inch long mammal. This kind of mammal is found only in China and Central Asia but most of the all it loves to live in the area of Kazakhastan and also the government has printed its photo on their postal stamps! It is believed that its size reduction is just because of the separating from that rodent family. It is now living in the land areas today. It is definitely a smallest creature in the world of today.

The Thick-tailed pygmy jerboa is listed as Vulnerable (VU), considered to be facing a high risk of extinction in the wild, on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
