Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough

By: Patty Smyth / Don Henley

Now, I don’t want to lose you
but I don’t want to use you
just to have somebody by my side.
And I don’t want to hate you,
I don’t want to take you
but I don’t want to be the one to cry.

And that don’t really matter to anyone anymore.
But like a fool I keep losing my place
and I keep seeing you walk through that door.

(Chorus)

But there’s a danger in loving somebody too much,
and it’s sad when you know it’s your heart you can’t trust.
There’s a reason why people don’t stay where they are.
Baby, sometimes, love just aint enough.

Now, I could never change you
I don’t want to blame you.
Baby, you don’t have to take the fall.
Yes, I may have hurt you, but I did not desert you.
Maybe I just want to have it all.

It makes a sound like thunder
it makes me feel like rain.
And like a fool who will never see the truth,
I keep thinking something’s gonna change.

(Chorus)

And there’s no way home
when it’s late at night and you’re all alone.
Are there things that you wanted to say?
And do you feel me beside you in your bed,
there beside you, where I used to lay?

And there’s a danger in loving somebody too much,
and it’s sad when you know it’s your heart they can’t touch.
There’s a reason why people don’t stay who they are.
Baby, sometimes, love just ain’t enough.

Baby, sometimes, love… it just ain’t enough.
Oh, Oh, Oh, No

A good ol’ remake of Paul Anka’s 1975 oldie:

Times of your Life

Good morning, yesterday
You wake up and time has slipped away
And suddenly it’s hard to find
The memories you left behind
Remember, do you remember

The laughter and the tears
The shadows of misty yesteryears
The good times and the bad you’ve seen
And all the others in between
Remember, do you remember
The times of your life (do you remember)

Reach back for the joy and the sorrow
Put them away in your mind
The mem’ries are time that you borrow
To spend when you get to tomorrow

Here comes the saddest part (comes the saddest part)
The seasons are passing one by one
So gather moments while you may
Collect the dreams you dream today
Remember, will you remember
The times of your life

Gather moments while you may
Collect the dreams you dream today
Remember, will you remember
The times of your life
Of your life
Of your life

Do you remember, baby
Do you remember the times of your life
Do you remember, baby
Do you remember the times of your life

Hilarious!

This is a beautiful song from the not-s0-long ago, when portable CD players still existed.

I remember how I love the slow melancholic melody, the sound of the acoustic guitar in the background.

Mr. Brown is at it again.

He never fails to amaze me with his rhymical lyrics and excessive time on hand!

Check out his cover on Wonder Girl’s ‘Nobody’, except that the lyrics has been changed to everything from swine flu to scratching your backside…

It’s hilarious!

Wash Your Hands Too

I dowan you to touch me baby
You go toilet nair wash hand right?

When you wash your body, wash your hands too
When you wash your body, wash your hands too
You don’t want get swine flu
Or someone pass to you
You better wash your body your body your body

H1N1 is confirm no fun
Be careful where you go, US or Mexico
If you have temperature that mean you got fever
Don’t just take honey, this flu is not farny

Maybe it’s time to wear a mask
Maybe you have forgotten SARS
Whatever the weather, must bring ther-mo meter
Stick it in your armpit or down there!

When you wash your body, wash your hands too
When you wash your body, wash your hands too
Though the level is yellow
Don’t be dirty fellow
You better wash your body your body your body

When you wash your body, wash your hands too
When you wash your body, wash your hands too
Must wash after poo poo
Or germs will stick to you
Wash more than your body your body your body

I know you use finger, don’t let the smell linger
I know you dig gold, and wipe on some pole
You scratch your backside, and think you can hide
You play your below, take ice from my Milo

Maybe it’s time to be hygiene
Maybe you should be quarantined
Don’t be a spreader, we stay clean together
We’ll pick the kutus from each other’s hair!

When you wash your body, wash your hands too
When you wash your body, wash your hands too
If you think you’re infected
Don’t blur block go Orchard
Don’t pass to somebody somebody somebody

When you wash your body, wash your hands too
When you wash your body, wash your hands too
Must wash after pang jio
The Wonder Girls damn chio
They dowan your body your body your body

Back in the days when we only took a bath monthly now
Looking at you I feel, as sick Kim Jong Ill
Your breath smell like kimchi, you see
There’s no vaccine eugene
Go wash your body
Your body your body, wash your hands too

This is the rendition of “Note to God” by Charice Pempengco, first live telecast on The Oprah Show on May 19.

Goosebumps, anyone?

This song is like all the rage on the Internet now, going on #1 on Amazon’s Single Bestsellers, Top 5 on iTunes Music and generating more than 500,000 views on Youtube.

Although I don’t really enjoy the religious inclination of the lyrics (it’s very much like gospel music), I must say she delivered a very powerful and emotional-stirring performance.

This MV brought tears to my eyes…

The concept is very well executed, and of course the melody and lyrics add on to the emotions.

The best thing about this concept is that everyone can relate to it, cos life symbolizes something different to each individual.

So which part of the journey are you at?

This is a song by Oren Lavie, call ‘Her Morning Elegance’. Stumbled upon it and thought I should share!

I had my own share of pain in stop motion and stop frame drawing during my art school days, and I can tell you… It’s HARD WORK.

Doing a 3 minutes animation can take you days or weeks as you need to capture the motion or drawing frame by frame.

25 consecutive frames makes up 1 second on film.

60 seconds makes up 1 minute.

So you have to come up with 1,500 frames of image or drawing to complete 1 minute of action.

Although it’s hard shit, but the end result can be very satisfying if you do it well…

I wonder how long they took to make this MTV… It’s just awesome!
